A. In 4.2 I was Arcane and have changed to Fire for 4.3 as it has been buffed and provides a higher dps.
Q5. Explain why you gemmed/enchanted/reforged the way you did:
A. I always strive to achieve the absolute optimal setup for my gear and use a combination of resources to optimise (Rawr, SimCraft, AskMrRobot, WowReforge.com).
Gemming:
I have done extensive testing and found the optimum combination of gems for my gear, applying gems that provide the socket bonus where applicable and have secured a couple of 4.3 epic gems.
Enchanting:
Head - Arcanum of Hyjal - Best for the slot
Shoulder - Greater Inscription of Charged Lodestone - Best for the slot
Back - Lightweave Embroidery - Tailoring specific and better than Greater Intellect
Chest - Peerless Stats - Best for the slot
Wrist - Mighty Intellect - Best for the slot
Hands - Greater Mastery - Have done some extensive testing on having this over Haste and the benefit from the mastery here is better.
Legs - Master's Spellthread - Tailoring specific and best for the slot
Feet - Precision - As with the hand enchant I have tested this extensively over Lavawalker/Mastery and found it allows me to need less reforging of hit from gear enabling me to gain more haste/crit
Ring - Intellect - Enchanting specific and best for the slot
Reforging:
I use WowReforge.com to test all the combinations and then import those into Rawr and SimCraft, allowing me to check for the optimum combination.
Q6. What professions do you have, why did you choose them, and are they changeable?
A. Enchanting - 525 - 277/354
Tailoring - 525 - 312/493
I am prepared to change them if it is in the best interests of the guild.
Q7. How’s your internet connection, have any issues with DCs?
A. I have a 10mb connection with a latency of 30-40ms, never have any issues with disconnecting.
Q8. Do you have a mic and are you willing to use it? Working Headset? Know how to use ventrilo?
A. Yes I have a working Creative Fatal1ty headset with mic and have Ventrilo installed, although I am more used to Mumble but I am sure I will be able to pick it up with no problems.
Q9. Can you make our raidtimes? (Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Sunday, 19.00-23.00 server time)
A. Yes I am able to raid at these times.

A. I have read the Guild Info & Policy and am in agreement with all guidelines mentioned.
Q12. Why do you want to join Horizons?
A. I like the heritage and philosophy of the guild, prioritising fun and a good atmosphere balanced with striving to focus on achieving the best progress possible. I believe the success or failure of any guild depends on this, and the better the attitude and focus, the better the progress.
Q13. How much experience do you have in End-Game raiding? if you have experience with other classes, tell us which. Both in Cataclysm and pre Cataclysm.
A. I started raiding in WotLK, notably progressing through content including Naxxramas and Icecrown Citadel with reputable guilds Diffuse and Execute, who sadly are no more. I wasn't in a guild so fought my way through pugs for Ulduar and TotC.
In Cataclysm I joined my current guild towards the end of T11 clearing BwD, BoT and TotFW then went into solid raiding when 4.2 hit. We made slow progress but evertually cleared 7/7 and started working on heroics clearing 6/7hc before 4.3 was launched. In the Dragon Soul I have cleared 8/8 on normal and 1/8 heroic.
I have also cleared all dungeons and raids from Vanilla and TBC and my overall total raid boss kills according to GuildOx is 1,192.
Q14. Do you have experience with progress raiding? (that is, wiping on the same boss for hours/days/weeks in a row) How do you react in such a situation?
A. Yes as mentioned I started in the Firelands spending many evenings wiping on new encounters and my reaction is simple; release, run and re-enter, buff up and try again.
Q15. Which guilds were you in before, and why did you leave them?
A. As previously mentioned I cleared Naxxramas with Diffuse who then disbanded, was away for Ulduar and TotC, came back for ICC with Tomorrow I Really Quit and Execute who also then disbanded, then various smaller guilds who promised consistnt raiding but lacked dedication. I then joined Legendary Guardians to join some irl friends who have since left due to lack of solid raiding.
Q16. Have you ever been in a leading position in previous guilds?
A. I was an officer in my current guild until they rotated the officers team around. I have also had the responsibility of raid leading, most notably during Firelands - for example on Ragnaros I was in charge of calling out the hammers, hitting the traps, and announcing the seed timers, engulfing flames, and living meteors.
Q17. What can you offer Horizons, and what do you expect in return?
A. I can offer dedication, commitment and high standards to strive to achieve the common goal of fun progress with the guild. In return I would like join Bubblepynk's mage team be a integral part of a core set of raiders being rewarded with end-game content and all the rewards it brings.
Q18. Do you have any Horizons members that would vouch for you?
A. None that I know of but I have recently been speaking with Nuubie, Bubblepynk and Donasher in game.
Q19. How do you see your future in World of Warcraft? Will you keep playing in Mists of Pandaria?
A. I am looking forward to Mists of Pandaria, and keen to carry on aiming for end-content progression.
Q20. Anything you would like to add?
A. I have been on the realm for 4-5 years and have always wanted to be in a solid stable raiding guild that consistently dedicated and are able to focus and clear content in a calm and progressive fashion. I believe Horizons fit that criteria.
I am dedicated and am always striving to improve my performance through practice and love to research my class with and read all the forums I can find. I am friendly and jovial but also very focused, prepared and serious when raiding and try to make sure I am always on top form.
