The Guild
The basic policy is that we're gonna have as much fun under the best progress possible. We'll always prioritize a good atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed and can speak their mind if they have opinions or suggestions about our raids, progress or our way of handling things.
Especially the GM-team will be open for all kinds of criticism without punishing anyone for feeling different about a subject. This way we'll have a more open communication and people hopefully wont talk behind each others back. This is a friendly but hardcore guild with a big and open-minded sense of humor in raids and outside raids as long as it doesn't interfere with our progress and performance. The guild will have a total amount of 40-45 members alts excluded. Maybe even less if people turns out to be really active. Its appreciated (read: mandatory!) to write AFK-posts, when there's more than one raid night affected by your absence the AFK-note is a must.
We have our own 50 slot Ventrilo server which we use all the time.
Raid times
Sunday-Thursday 19.00 - 23.00 (Tuesday is not a raid day)
Loot
Horizons does not have a dkp system and will never have one. Loot is distributed solely by Nuubie. Loot is distributed based on raid performance, guild activity, attitude, interest in raiding (always having pots, elixirs, flasks, coming on time, etc) and current gear, but in some cases also where the item will contribute best for the guild. This doesn't mean that you will get an item if you have the worst one from the ones who "needed" on it because having the worst item usually means that you were a slacker in getting a better one from honor/points/heroics, etc.
Rules
1. It's not allowed using guild channel as trade channel. Offer things for free or go on AH and sell them. There will be no fee required when crafting items/gems/enchants for guildies.
2. We should try to keep the forum clean from spamming so that important issues can actually be discussed without losing focus. This doesn't necessarily mean the general part of the forum where threads and posts are non-associated with wow and the guild.
3. Keep a civilized attitude on gchat and forum. Don't respond to a curse with a worse one. Never under any circumstances harass people, even if you feel attacked yourself.
4. Any video/pics or opinion that is found race, sex discriminating or pornographic will be removed, and there is a great chance you will too.
5. You are not allowed to engage or respond to anything said on general channel during a raid. Keep the focus on the raid and never enable any form of meaningless spam.
6. You are not allowed to gem or enchant your new gear during a raid if that implies any type of downtime (as in going to SW and buying gems, reforging, going to buy head/shoulders enchants etc).
